Volunteer Requirements for Working with Children and Vulnerable Adults

Any adult volunteering with minors and vulnerable adults must fulfill the following requirements mandated by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and the Diocese of Baton Rouge:

1. Complete the CAPS application
2. Complete a background check
3. Complete the Serving Vulnerable Populations and the Diocesan Code of Ethics training module for adults. Log in to complete your training by clicking here.
4. Have their name screened through the CAPS database for a pre-existing organizational status check
5. Provide a copy of a government-issued I.D.
