O.C.I.A.
OCIA sessions are for adults/children, not yet baptized or previously baptized in another Christian Faith, who may be interested in joining the Catholic faith. The OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) is a process of conversion that leads to the initiation sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation.
If you or someone you know would like to learn more about the Catholic faith, please join us for OCIA.
For more information, contact Adrienne Halpen at 225-695-6223 or call the parish office at 225-698-3110. OCIA sessions are open for anyone to attend. Parishioners, come and support those choosing to learn more about the Catholic Faith. Volunteers who would be willing to send simple refreshments for our OCIA participants for one or more of the sessions.
O.C.I.A. will kick-off in August on Mondays @6:30pm, St. Joseph Catholic Church.
